Interacting with Spoken English is a twice weekly elective which gives students the opportunity to improve their ability to express opinions and ideas, in an environment which is conducive to confident language production. Students will develop the tools they need to express themselves based on their own personality and goals. Speaking activities include one to one conversations, as well as interaction with the entire group in a relaxed environment. The teacher will follow a negotiated syllabus with the students so that the topics are current and related to their interests. The goal is that students will practice their fluency, oral comprehension, debating skills and presentation skills.
