I was born in the city of Chicago, Illinois and I grew up around the American Midwest and in Western Mexico. I graduated with a degree in English Writing from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Soon after I graduated, I moved to Seoul, South Korea, where I taught English to kids for three years. Seeking something a little bit different, in 2011 I moved to Bogota, where I was certified as an English teacher through International House. Soon after, I starting teaching at Externado University.
I love reading books, writing fiction and poetry, going to the movies, traveling, and picking up random hobbies.
