Reading – Conversation Club
These weekly sessions will take the form of a round-table discussion about the bestselling non-fiction book, 21 Lessons for the 21st Century, by Israeli historian, Yuval Noah Harari. Participants will have read a chapter (and possibly one of the sources referred to in the footnotes) before each session in order to be fully engaged in the discussion. Therefore, participants will need to get the edition in English (which can be easily bought in bookstores such as Panamericana).

These sessions are not intended to be a course about Yuval Noah Harari or his teachings. The idea of the course is a round table discussion about this particular book.

The main aim of the course is to improve confidence when speaking and debating in a public forum, while at the same time working on pronunciation.

This course is directed towards teachers and professionals from all areas with a B2+ level of English. It is suitable for people who wish to practice English in an academic context.

Face to face class – 24 hours across 12 weeks.
Thursdays from 5:00 to 6:45pm.
Maximum of 12 people in class.
Starting date: August 15th.

$500,000 (Special launch price: 20% discount for the Externado community – undergraduate and postgraduate students, administrative staff, professors and graduates)
